My Newest Disney Bucket List

Disney Bucket List

Put Your Disney Bucket List In Writing

Do you have a Disney Bucket List?

I must confess, not until recently did I have an official Disney Bucket List that I written out.  I had lists, but some of the items were written on notes in my phone, others in journals and some were held confidentially in my head.

Those are the kind of list that never gets accomplished.

Let’s back up a little.

Professionally, I help people check items off of their bucket list.  Recently I was talking with a friend about their bucket list when they told me they had never written out their list on paper?

‘What??  How can you check off your bucket list if you don’t have them written out? ” I questioned.

After that conversation, it hit me that there are LOTS of things I want to do at Disney that I still have not done and should do the same, I needed to create an official and ultimate Disney Bucket List.  This is it!

My Ultimate Disney Bucket List

This list is in no particular order and some have already been checked off because they come from years of being a Disney fanatic.  And I must confess, I simply day dream about Disney way too much.     ….and the list keeps getting bigger too!

Disney’s Keys To The Kingdom Tour

Let’s face it, I LOVE Disney trivia and behind the scene information as made obvious in the post 137 Disney Fun Facts & Secrets, so obviously the Disney’s Keys To The Kingdom Tour would be rather epic for me!  I’ve been backstage on several occasions, but never for an official tour.  This Disney bucket list item needs to happen!

Go To Dapper Day at Magic Kingdom

It’s so fun for me to see people Disney Bounding and dressing Disney while at Disney World!  This year I was at Epcot on the day Dapper Days was at Epcot and immediately added Dapper Day at Magic Kingdom to my mental bucket list!

Ride Expedition Everest at Night

I’ve done this!!  If you’ve never ridden Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at night, you need to add it to your bucket list for sure!  This was my favorite roller coaster at Disney before riding it at night, but after the night time experience, it legit got ten times better.  With the lighting effects, it’s like this was meant to be a night time coaster.

If you time the ride perfectly, and sit in the front train, you can catch the fireworks at Hollywood Studios.

Live In Golden Oak

This is no doubt the ultimate Disney bucket list item for me. Living at Disney World, on Disney property, in a million dollar mansion and surrounded in complete luxury – it’s a dream item for sure!

Live In Celebration

Are you familiar with Celebration, Florida?  Celebration is a master planned community that Disney started back in the 1990’s.  World Drive, the road leading to the Magic Kingdom, goes from the Magic Kingdom straight into Celebration, so it’s about as close to living at Disney World as possible.

It’s completely Disney-esque – but no longer owned by Disney.  There are definitely touches of Disney and the Mouse all around and it’s simply a beautiful little town.  Disney still has some offices here, spread out among several office buildings, and the Disney charm remains.  I always tell people to imagine the typical town that are in Hallmark Christmas movies and they will know what Celebration feels like.

In June of last year I checked this item off of my Disney Bucket List when I moved to Celebration.  To say that I love it here is a complete understatement!

I met this sweet lady while at the Epcot Festival of the Arts last week! What a cutie! #artfulepcot

Get Pics with Mickey and Minnie

Of all my visits to Disney, I had seen Mickey and Minnie, but had never actually did a character meet and greet with them.  At Epcot’s Festival of the Arts this all changed!  I got a pic with both Mickey and Minnie.

This pic with Minnie is one of my favorites!

Stay at ALL of the Disney World Resorts

I am only one stay away!  At this point I’ve stayed at all of the Disney World resorts except for Disney’s Art of Animation Resort!

At one point in life I traveled to Orlando about 10 times a year and had lots of conferences and conventions in Orlando, so this allowed me to jump around and experience lots of the resorts.  Plus, I had a brother who worked for Disney, so that helped out too!

Can I get that last stay in soon??

Get your Dole Whip at Disney’s Polynesian Resort with hardly ever a long wait!

Eat a Dole Whip On The Beach At Disney’s Polynesian Resort

Obviously I’ve had a Dole Whip before, no doubt way too many of them!  But for some reason, I keep envisioning the beach at Disney’s Polynesian, me and a Dole Whip all three coexisting in complete bliss.  I’ve got to make this happen!

I finally got a ride at Disney World all to myself! #dinasaur

Be On A Ride All By Myself

It finally happened!  I got to ride Dinosaur at Disney’s Animal Kingdom all by myself!  It was just a matter of perfect timing, but I rode all by myself!

And I’m not ashamed to admit, I wanted to ride this one alone just for the pic!  I love this picture!

Take A Funny Picture On Splash Mountain

Much like the fun picture above, I want to take a really funny picture on Splash Mountain.  You catch funny pictures all the time on Instagram or in Facebook groups – I want one of my own!

See Space Mountain With The Lights On

I got lucky and was on the People Mover while the lights were on inside of Space Mountain and took a ton of pictures.  Sadly, when the lights are on, it’s not much to look at.  But it sure was an epic experience!

I’ve heard of people getting to ride it with the lights on.  Honestly, I think that would scare the Pixie Dust out of me!

Be The Last Person On Main Street USA

Can you even imagine??  I think it would be the coolest thing ever to be on Main Street USA at night when everyone else has already left.  You see such cool pictures of people being the only one in sight.

I must confess, on nights that I’ve decided to stay late, I’ve always been too worn out and give up on the idea.  But eventually, I will make this Disney bucket list item happen!

See The Kiss Goodnight At Magic Kingdom

This happens about 40 minutes after closing and it’s just something I want to experience.   The name of this blog is “Sharing Magical Moments” and I truly believe that experiencing this would be absolutely magical!

Visit ALL Disney Theme Parks Around The World

Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai – I want to see them all!

Stay At Disney’s Aulani Resort In Hawaii For A Week

Every single picture and blog post I read about Aulani seems absolutely perfect!  It’s a long flight, so I should go for a week, right?

Get A Pair of Mickey Ears With My Name On It

This may be the saddest item on the bucket list because it would be so easy to check off!  Of all my times at Disney I’ve never gotten Mickey Ears with my name on it.  Maybe I’ll combine this one with my trip to Disneyland Paris!

Stay A Month At A Disney Resort

I’m not going to lie, I think of this one often!  How cool would it be to stay at one of the resorts for a full month?

When I think about actually doing this, I always feel like it makes the “most sense” to  do this at either Disney’s Boardwalk or Disney’s Beach Club.  That way, I would have easy access to incredible pools, street entertainment, quick access to two parks, be on the water and have lots of my favorite restaurants close by.

Of all my Disney bucket list items, I believe this would be the coolest to experience.

Have A Full Spa Day At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

I’ve been to the spa at Saratoga Springs for a massage that lasted an hour.  Getting to spend a full day in the spa at Grand Floridian seems completely heavenly!

Looks like Characters In Flight got some new digs.

Ride Characters In Flight at Disney Springs

There’s something completely magical about seeing Characters In Flight flying in the skyline. To me, it’s absolutely beautiful soaring above Disney Springs.  Riding it is definitely a bucket list item!

Disneybound In A Major Way

Looking through hundreds of pics to find an example, the ratio of guys to girls doing this seems to be about 1 guy to every 100 females.  That said, I still want to do it!  Just once!

The creativity around Disney Bounding is fascinating to me.  I love seeing people use their creativity to express their Disney Style!

Ride The Main Street Trolly

You see it, you hear it….. you should ride it!

Go To Hoop De Doo Revue During Christmas

When it comes to dinner shows at Disney, this one is my favorite!  The Christmas show is just as cheesy, corny and over-the-top silly as the regular show.  And you are guaranteed to laugh, be entertained and leave completely stuffed!

Order The Secret Nachos Rio Grande at Pecos Bill

Start A Disney Blog

After thinking and thinking and thinking about starting a Disney Blog, I finally started Sharing Magical Moments.  Hope you are enjoying it!

Own All The Disney Movies On iTunes

No shame here, I love Disney Movies!

At this point, I have most of the classics on DVD, but would love to have them all on iTunes so I can watch them when I travel.  For some reason, flights go so much quicker when you’re watching a Disney movie!

The day I met the Dapper Dans 🙂

A post shared by Bonnie Cribbs (@sharingmagicalmoments) on

Get A Selfie With The Dapper Dans

Not going to lie, getting a selfie with the Dapper Dans at the Magic Kingdom was pretty dang awesome!  So much so, I had to go catch their show after the picture was taken.  They sound amazing!

Go On A 7 Day Disney Cruise

This one is obviously self explanatory.  I’m not even picky of where it goes!  When it comes to cruise lines, Disney’s cruises and cruise ships are top of the line.  Seven days, along with lots of excursions, new memories and experiences sounds rather perfect.

Run (or Walk) A Disney Half Marathon

Marathon weekend around here are rather spectacular and I want to be a part of it just to say I’ve participated in one of the marathons.  At this point, I know it will be me walking a half, but I’m totally okay with that for a start.

Get A Haircut At Harmony Barbershop On Main Street

As soon as you walk past the train station and to the left is a barbershop just off of Main Street USA – and I want to get a haircut there!

Take The Wild Africa Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Can you imagine getting a behind the safari experience at Animal Kingdom?  Up close and personal with the animals??  Such an incredible opportunity for an amazing experience at Disney.

That time you max out the score on both sides in the first room!

Score 999,999 on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Not only have I done this, I maxed out the high score on both riders!  Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is typically the first FastPass+ reservation chosen when I go to Magic Kingdom.  This ride brings you right into the middle of a video game and Toy Story.

Stay In A Cabin At Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

At the writing of this post, the cabins at Copper Canyon / Wilderness Lodge haven’t opened up yet, but getting to see the construction of these truly has created a strong desire to stay in one of these beautiful cabins.

Go Backstage At Turtle Talk With Crush

Since the first time of seeing this attraction, the technology has mesmerized me!  There Crush is on the big screen interacting with people from the audience.  Crush has facial expressions, tricks, makes movements – and I want to see how they do it!

I have to make it backstage to see how the Magic happens!

Attend a D23 Annual Event

It looks like D23 is the ultimate Disney fan membership and the annual event is attended by most major Disney bloggers and fanatics.  Well, that should be me, right?

Fly On A Disney Themed Airplane

As I travel and fly, I’ve seen the Disney planes a few times, but have never flown on one.  Alaska Airlines is probably my best bet, which may just happen because one of my non-Disney bucket list items is an Alaskan cruise.

But the WestJet Frozen themed plane would be so dang cool! (pun intended)

Photo cred and video below belong to WestJet

Attend A Wedding In The Wedding Pavilion

My brother worked for Disney’s Fairytale Weddings for a long time, but I was never able to go to one of the weddings in the pavilion.  Though I’ve been inside of it, wouldn’t it be cool to experience a wedding there??
